Decennial insurance for a new business: get insured before your first job
Are you setting up a construction business in France, as a micro-entrepreneur or a company? Decennial insurance must be in place before your first project starts. With no history, insurers look mainly at your experience and qualifications. Lev Assurances helps you build a strong file.

Why get insured from day one
The decennial insurance obligation applies from the first project, whatever your status, including as a micro-entrepreneur. The policy must be taken out before the project’s opening date and cover the activity concerned on that date: a project opened before you take out the policy will not be covered. And the certificate must be attached to your very first quotes.
With no insurance history, the insurer assesses your competence: qualifications (CAP, BP, BTS or equivalent), years of experience as an employee, project references. The better documented your file, the simpler the review. If you have never been insured, see also decennial insurance with no history.
Declare only the activities you master and that your experience justifies: this keeps the file consistent and limits the premium. You can add activities later. See covered activities and exclusions.
The decennial insurance cost for a new business is based on forecast turnover. To finance your first equipment, a business loan can also be considered.
