Business, industrial or home: different needs

Business multi-risk insurance brings together several useful protections: business premises, equipment, property damage and certain liabilities, depending on the covers chosen. Our business multi-risk insurance is designed in particular for self-employed healthcare professionals, whose needs are reviewed according to their practice.

Industrial multi-risk insurance is for companies whose buildings, equipment, stock or processes call for a closer analysis. With industrial multi-risk insurance, covers such as fire, water damage, theft, machinery breakdown or business interruption are reviewed according to the contract.

For individuals, home insurance is also a multi-risk policy: it covers the home, contents and the occupants’ liability. Covers and exclusions are checked according to the home, the occupant’s status and the level of protection sought.

A landlord must review the risks that remain when they do not live in the property. Non-occupant owner insurance meets this need, while unpaid rent cover and building liability address other risks (see our property insurance page). The aim is to coordinate contracts according to the property and its use.

Frequently asked questions

What is multi-risk insurance?

A contract that combines several covers to protect assets, premises and, depending on the contract, certain liabilities or losses following a claim.

What is the difference between business and industrial multi-risk?

Business multi-risk is for service activities and liberal professions. Industrial multi-risk meets the needs of sites, equipment and industrial risks.

Are fire and water damage covered?

They are commonly included, but their scope and claims conditions always depend on the contract.

Are theft and machinery breakdown covered automatically?

No. These covers must be checked in the contract terms; they may depend on the insured assets and the security measures required.

Is business interruption included?

Not automatically. Business interruption is often an option that compensates for lost activity after a covered claim, within the contract limits.

How do I request a quote?
